About imec

Imec was born out of the so-called 3rd Industrial Revolution. Today, 35 years later, the fourth industrial revolution is coming on stream and again imec is at the heart of this – digital – revolution.

In the presentation, examples will be given of how imec’s research is contributing to the world of tomorrow, tackling the major challenges we all see for our planet, our health and nutrition, our transportation and our quality of life in the big cities.
